About the Book:
"Your book will be inspire so many people..."
- Lisa Williams
Into Angels is an amazing spiritual journey: a love story with a difference.
With a foot in two worlds: poverty and hardship, alongside the world of the ‘glitterati’ and vulgar wealth, Marianne Quinn endeavours to free herself from the clutches of a ‘fatal attraction’ – a love affair that threatens to destroy her. She has succeeded in distancing herself, on a few occasions; finding alternative employment. But these jobs petered out in takeovers, or business failure and she is back where she started.
Penniless, she is forced to leave home and it is the charity of friends and a little help from the ‘angelic realms’ that saves her from a life on the streets!

I have read Into Angels and consider it a very good example of its genre. Lively characters who interact very well. Well done Esme!

I enjoyed the read so thank you for that pleasure. There’s no doubt but that you are able to put words together and you do so with verve and enthusiasm! The story has a list of very interesting characters and it moves at a brisk pace. The theme is also interesting; some people say that the journey inwards is the most exciting and dangerous of all!

I loved your book! I found myself laughing out loud. The part about the upgraded flight to New York had me in stitches!! It’s a book that will have an effect on you, a lovely life lesson book, without being one, if you catch my drift! Best of luck.

What a truly brilliant read! I finally finished it tonight, after a day from hell, but it lifted my spirits. You know, not everyone will 'get' the message but if they do, it will touch them and 'teach' them! It made me look at myself and what I am here to do, and I am one of the lucky ones! Your book will inspire so many other people. I loved it!!! I have recommended it to everyone I’ve met. Take care and thank you for such a wonderful book!

This book is a journey and I challenge anyone to read it and not recognise themselves in there somewhere! Esme Conway has captured the truth of the human experience and beautifully describes the highs and lows of Marianne's life, while sensitively reminding us that we are all on a journey of discovery. Read this book and be inspired by Marianne's story to boldly travel your own road and perhaps be surprised where it leads you.

Wow, what a read, you will be dragged into the world of Marianne and
along the
way will tear your hair out at Derek's antics but you will also stop
and see
yourself staring back at you when you least expect it. This is a MUST
read for
all men and women alike, you will not be able to put it down. Get this

someone you care about. They will be forever thankful and like me, will
plead
with the author for Part 2 of the story.

Excerpt from Into Angels
It may have been assurance of a higher nature - or it may have been one of those strange little coincidences with ordinary explanations. Whatever it was, it came about in unusual and mundane circumstances and just when she needed a bit of comforting. A Monday evening, in late 2003, one of the many occasions Marianne found herself enduring the company of the younger, hedonistic, egotistical ‘set’ with whom Derek had become so smitten. He had invited them to his house for dinner and a ‘post mortem’ of a gig they had worked on over the weekend. Exhausted after a gruelling workload and with little sleep, Marianne was doing her best to appear interested as they gushed on about their performances, trying to outdo each other in their battle for the limelight, craving instant gratification. She cast about, in her mind, for an opportune time to tell him their relationship was over. Derek fussed about with a camera, taking everyone’s picture - bar Marianne’s. Sprawled on a couch opposite her, Darren, an overbearing comedian conducted a live radio interview by telephone, his jokes sordid, double meaning and decidedly unfunny. The other guests tittered and chatted in hushed voices during the interview. The food she had prepared sat, surrendering the last of its nourishment to the whirring fan oven. At that moment, she decided to detach – ‘go inside’ - closed her eyes, took a long breath and prayed.
“Angels, whoever’s up there, please be with me now. Give me the strength to get through this.”
Derek decided to use up the last shot on his film and took her picture. The flash startled her.
A week passed. They were in the office, Marianne engrossed in a schedule on her computer.
“There’s your picture,” Derek said, tossing a single photograph onto the table behind her. Marianne turned around and picked it up. It appeared to be over-exposed and she was almost relieved. She never liked herself in photographs and was about to tear it up and bin it when she noticed there was something odd about the ‘over-exposure’. Remembering what it was she was doing when the photograph was taken, she smiled. In the picture, she was faintly visible, eyes closed, swathed in a golden light, streaming down from above her head!
“Thanks!” she whispered.
“Don’t mention it”, Derek said absentmindedly, already engaged in one of his unnecessary telephone calls!
